XD It's been SOOOOO Long since my last journal update!!! I just wanted to say that I'm still alive and I'll post EVERYTHING to get all caught up within a week or two. PLUS---- I'm working on a novel, so expect that to come up on here sometime soon, but just know that due to my 3 AP and 1 senior class, I'm not going to be frequent on them. I'll try to get the first five chapters done and typed up, and then post a new one every week just to make sure that it'll go semi-smoothly =]

Lets make our story have a happy ending...

Something big has happened in the past couple of days. See, Lollypops Farm, the local human center that fixes animals and tries to find them good homes, had a lot of cats. Too many cats actually. They decided to give cats a year or older away for free and kittens for $60 instead of the normal $120 this past weekend. Well, Taylor's parents, when we were away at Darien Lake, got a cat named Gizmo(A grey short hair with a white neck, belly, and paws). By the time we got back to our homes, Taylor's parents decided to bring Gizmo back because he had attacked them. They thought that the cat had a previous neglectful owner, and couldn't deal with it because of the other three cat's and trying to keep them safe. Taylor told me about this, and my motherly instincts kicked in. Since they were planning on bringing him back, that meant that he probably was going to be put down, and people know how I get about that. I cleaned the whole night and got only 3 hours of sleep, crying a good amount of the time, and my grandmother decided to take in the cat with me since my mom didn't want a cat living upstairs. So yesterday, we got everything and got Gizmo!

It turns out he wasn't neglected, but he was just playing. They tell us that he's three, but he looks and acts like a 1-2 year old. He seems to like the place and already has a favorite laying spot. I say laying because he never seems to be sleeping. He also loves to look out the window, which is why I'm going to try to put a harness(kinda like a collar only safer for the cat) on him. He scratches and bite a lot when he played with me, but today he seems to be more gentle. He even attacked me last night by biting my neck. I did the "play dead" thing in hopes he would let go. I had to use my hands to make him let go, but he kept finding spots to bite me. I now have a huge scratch on the back of my left shoulder that bleed a good amount. I went to bed angry at him, but this morning he greeted me with sweet meowing, and wanted nothing but petting/attention from me. I think he's mellowed out a good amount. We thought he probably did that because he could either still be in pain from getting neutered on friday(why they would let a cat out so early after a surgery beats me) or he was just frightened/had enough. He knows how to use a litter box very well, has to eat with someone standing next to him, like milk more than water, and loves to play with string. I'm still trying to figure out his personality because it seems to be changing because he's getting used to of being here.

So yeah, now I have seven pets. One dog, five goldfish, and now one cat. It's nice to have a cat in the house again =]

Okay, so it's been a while since my last update and I'm bored so why the hell not update already ><

Well, Monty looks amazing, but some of his lower notes arn't coming out. All should be good when I get new reeds to go with the mouthpiece we bought.

Homework?

Yes... I unfortunantly have summer homework because of my AP courses. "Oh, courses?" you might be thinking. "I thought she only had one AP course that needed summer homework." Well guess what? They moved me up in English. Instead of taking English III, I'm taking English III Honors (aka AP English Language and Composition). Which is great because now I'll be doing AP Humanities where they kind of combine the english and us classes and it's supposed to be easier than taking them separately. So now I'll be taking 4 AP courses and one senior course along with wind ensemble. Though this means I get more AP classes out of the way, this also means I have english summer homework. Most of it was fun and easy, but now I have to read, annotate, and write a dialect journal for 31 chapters from Uncle Tom's Cabin D= Not only that, but I have 6 more chapters to write summaries and definitions for US.

Morphed Goldfish

So you remember my five goldfish? Well, Lorenzo, the dark grey goldfish, has morphed. He's no longer that dark grey goldfish. He's now a yellow goldfish. See, one day I noticed that he looked a brownish yellow for most of his body, so I started to get worried that he was sick or something. Turns out that goldfish are known to change colors and they're perfectly fine. He went from the darkest goldfish, to the second lightest goldfish. And yes, they're all still happy in their little tank. They're so cute <3

Sweet Sixteen?

I didn't have a sweet sixteen, which I'm fine with. It's my friend, Melissa, that I'm talking about. You might have seen the photo I posted from it, so you mildly know what I'm talking about. Well, she had this decent sized party at a party house near a college that's about 30 minutes away. Taylor and I were invited, and it was the first time this summer that I got to see a lot of my friends. It was great. There was a DJ, and some good food, and lots of candy. I was dancing with the girls while Taylor sat and talked with Mike, my ex. There was a limbo thing too, and I was the only one who didn't cheat and totally pwned everyone's asses XD It was fun minus the comment Mike made to Taylor. "I bet you're going to have fun with that," or something along those lines. Taylor just laughed, and I want to slap Mike. We also helped spread a true rumor about someone, but it might scar people if I posted it. It was the most fun that I had in a long time =]

Is finally getting mildly tired...

After not being able to sleep all night. My cycle as been that I sleep in until 4 or 5 pm, and then I go to be at 6-8 am. I think I'll be forcing myself to stay awake for the say in hopes to get a normal-ish sleep cycle back. Blehhh.

Oh, and I'm going to take my permit test on Tuesday after I get some cavities filled. I hope the novicane wears off before the photo because I usually swell a little bit. I'll just make sure to look decent if I end up passing and they take a photo for my permit.
